I use scandisk extreme III card for photographic purposes and downgraded an old slow 4 gig card I had lying around for the iliad. I do not see much sense in using a high speed card in the iliad. It will not speed up starting times nor the page refresh rate. The high speed cards are made to handle cameras like the canon 1D MK III that can shoot 10 frames a second and are 12 megapixel devices. The iliad, it seems to me, has no extreme requirements like that. The extreme cards have the benefit of being stable and reliable at a very wide range of temperatures and I pretty much stop reading well within the temperature range of even a modest card.
