I'm afraid this only gets you so far - because this gives you access to the media hub folder on the WP7 device. But none of the media hub software knows how to read ebooks. Freda can do that, but it has no access to the media hub; for Freda to be able to see a book file, the file has to be in the isolated storage area specific to Freda (app id c1e312da-52d6-df11-a844-00237de2db9e). I don't think this registry fix lets you do that.
The good news is that I am working on a way to bulk-copy files into Freda's isolated storage ... the bad news is that it might take me another week or two to get it right.
