I bought the lighted case but I am disappointed in the light. It doesn't seem to light evenly like my Mighty Bright Travel Flex does. However it is perfect for reading in bed next to someone as it won't blind the person next to you so less grumbles and more enjoy reading time!
The Case itself is really nice, good quality and well worth the price. The light is a bonus for me.
If you want a light you can attach to the case. I highly recommend the
Mighty Bright Travel Flex which runs on 1 AAA battery. I paid $12 for it at my local B&N. One battery last for me a very long time before I switch it out. It has perfect even lighting with no glare at all. It's very light weight unlike it's big brother Mighty Bright Xtra Flex 2 which I also have and use as a night light and Computer repair light as it's way too bright for reading! The Travel Flex also has a long bendy neck so you can adjust the light's position.
