I have very mixed feelings about this series. I loved the first few books.

But then it just kept dragging on and on ... and on.

I honestly feel like the original author was pointlessly prolonging the books, especially because nothing happened to move the story forward in any recognizable way. The only reason I am still reading is because I am curious as to how it all ends (if it ever will!).

I will withhold final judgement until the series is finally finished. But, I am no longer buying any more hardcover books from this series... they are getting as little of my money as possible from this point forward. They have already made enough off of me.

If I have to wait longer for a cheaper version or wait until I can borrow if from the library, so be it.
