So... I did not miss my iPad. But the in room computer sucked up a lot of my time. I did not even take my 300 out of its slipcover. I used my iPhone as usual - used Byline to identify feed items to send to Instapaper or Read it Later. And read on my DX. Never got to the DVDs I brought along.
Conclusion: next time bring the iPad & DX. Leave the rest at home.
The most annoying thing was the airplane. No, I don't mean the silly, useless & insulting TSA baloney, although that is more than annoying. What I mean is the absurd requirement that I turn off my DX during takeoffs & landings. I brought a couple of magazines to read during those periods.
Of course, one should always have a small pbook along, just in case...
