I hate when this happens!!
Well, my Nook was dying so I charged it instead of my phone (which is my alarm) when I went to bed this evening (I work 3rd shift) I happened to have the book I was reading on my Nook, on my Droid X, and started to read it....well, apparently Aldiko defaults to not turn the screen off after a period of inactivity....so my alarm didn't go off...I fell asleep while reading it and it died. LOL....my wife came in and was like "get up, if they call and ask where you are and wake up our son I'm going to be pissed and kill you." LOL oops....fortunately I was only 30 minutes late.
