I went on a tea-finding expedition today, and had success! (The grocery stores around me do not carry loose tea, I've found.) This is what I got, mostly at TJ Maxx (a kind of a gift/overstock type store for those unfamiliar with it):
Wedgwood English Breakfast, in a nice little blue tin
Twinings Jasmine Tea, green tea
Boston Tea Company Ceylon Symphony, black tea
Boston Tea Company Oriental Treasure, green tea
Numi Flowering Tea, "Flower Jewel," white tea with jasmine
Nourishtea Company, Yummy Chai (

) Black tea with spices
Best part was that it was all pretty inexpensive there. Can't buy anymore for a while, though, because I'm supposed to be watching my pennies until I see how this retirement thing pans out...
Anyway, I was tickled to see the flowering tea because that's something I wanted to try. I took it over to my mom's house (she is not a tea drinker normally) because I thought she would get a kick out of it. Indeed, we both enjoyed watching the flower unfold, and the white tea was pretty enjoyable. Mom even enjoyed it enough that I left a couple of pods over there.
That was my day, in the "what's in your cup?" world.
