Ok, truce. Thread war over

B&N did state that the 2.2 update would be coming next year. After my experience with other tablets like the Pandigital Novel, I'm pretty confident that it will be rooted soon and custom firmware will be available. That's what I'm waiting for. In the meantime, I'm not getting rid of my classic nook or my Asus T91mt tablet.
