It was never a big deal to me, I dont know where you get that. But dont you feel that as the reviews from engaget or cnet were published today you now feel like your getting less of a cat in bag? I certainly found them very informative as opposed to what looked like wishlists of users published before that. They basically tell me the hardware is great, the software needs to improvement to get as good a score. As a nook "classic" owner, I'll wait and see what the 1.5 brings. do they dare updating core android over the air. If not it will tell me that nook color users are probably stuck with android 2.1 for the life of the device which is not perfect. Unless I fall in love with the device in my hand tomorrow at b&n store, I will probably also wait for Q1 2011 to see how their version of android market turns out. It may be the case that rooting specialists will beat b&n to it and put android market on rooted nook color. We'll see.
To be honest, there are many users here with more experience on reading devices than any magazine reviewer. Just FYI.
