Me too!!

Luckily, I had done a backup on a portable disk on Sunday, which was the 15the of the month.(The Ides of the month) My brain seems to work in a weird and wonderful way!!!

I had Avast, Advanced System Care, CCleaner, Defraggler, and Spybot Search and Destroy installed, so thought that I had all of the bases covered. So even though I hadn't clicked on the rotter, it still managed to insinuate itself onto my laptop.

I usually get my free programs from Major Geeks. I have never had any problems from programs that I have downloaded from them.

The one thing which I cannot find is how to wipe the old program off, as I don't want to partition the old program, I want it..........gone.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L650 with 32bit of Office Home and Student 2010 installed. Model No.PSK 1 JA - 0FN017.

If MR has any IT savvy members out there, help would be appreciated as to how I would go about starting afresh.

Pray for me.
