absolutely beats paper books. New authors.
Even at it's best a publishing company can't print every good book presented to it. Conversely not all books are worth reading.
With ebooks you can usually read a portion of it before you buy it, so you can decide if you want to buy it. Result - less bad purchases, more good stories, and less money spent.
