Here we have a standard image for each type of machine in the enterprise. It's a simple matter to just ghost the image, run sysprep or ghostwalker or sumsuch to change the SID, rejoin the network, and install any patches that were issued since the image was burned.

The problem comes if the user has not backed up his/her data.
