I used to pride myself on carrying only a little bag, but as life has progressed I've found I need a bigger bag. Sometimes I carry a small purse inside a big purse. Really.
Motherhood tends to require a big bag. One that can at least accomodate a complete set of pee-soaked toddler clothes.
And for ladies with a job...a big purse is handy for stealing office supplies.
