I am a new owner of a Kindle and am relishing the thought of being able to free up some space on my bookshelves - when I get around to it of course. I will be 'Ebaying' first and then donating the ones that don't sell. I have a lot of pbooks and little room. The books that are lucky enough to end up on my bookshelves, and not in drawers or cupboards or wherever there is space, are stacked two deep. I have no doubt I will get some nice surprises when I finally get rid of the first layer because there will be books there I have forgotten I own and certainly haven't read.
The e-reader definitely works for me. The other night I was reading in bed and needed a bathroom break. I found myself placing it face down on the bed so I wouldn't lose my place.
