montsnmags,

I've used my PalmTX for reading eReader and Mobipocket books for over a year now. Most are classics from Project Gutenberg, Manybooks or Memoware. I've also create reference materials using the MobiPocket Creator.

MobiPocket is one of many freely available apps that can be loaded on the TX. With a dictionary loaded, just highlight a word and the dictionary pops up with the definition. The touch screen makes page turning and item selection easy.

I didn't plan to use the calendar, addressbook or task functions but in a fit of boredom one day I made some entries and was off to the races.

Other things I like, grabbing a quick charge from any computer with a usb port, downloading material directly to the card and customizing it for my needs.

The only real fault is that sound from the mp3 player is not very good. There's a constant background hum. I don't care, I like peace and quiet.

What else would you like to know?
