Good to have your company, CMVC. Outside monasteries, convents and the ebook-reading community, seventy-three year old virgins are pretty rare animals.

***I've just been given a load of Sony books in RLF. How do I convert these and others to suit my shiny new Kindle Wi-fi?***

As JBCohen says, you can convert from ePub to the Mobi format used by your Kindle via Calibre free library software ... but ONLY if the ePub files are not padlocked by DRM software. You can pretty easily strip DRM by following instructions on the net, but -- morally justified as that practice might be -- it's illegal, so we can't go into detail here.

You can, though, lose your virginity with many Mobile files on offer other than at the Kindle Store itself. You'll find these with practice. Or pop into the bookstore section of my own site (linked below) and email me with a few titles that catch your eye. I'd be happy to send the Mobi versions as email attachments with our compliments.

Very best wishes and good luck. Neil -- ntmarrATbewrite.net (use the @ sign, of course)
