i don't think they'll give me much hassle over it...well, hope...

since I've signed up I've seen that some variation of it IS fairly common; not so much with kindles but other e-ink devices.
mine doesn't seem that bad really but it's so distracting.

so just to be straight here- the screen should be one solid color without any subtle variations? I just thought that perhaps with the bigger screen and better resolution something like this might be more apparent....
