From what I understand, to update your instsall, just unzip the DK_System folder over your old one. Do not run the .bin / update kindle.
It appears that they are working on English support, but they still have not released an uninstall utility. I tried to sign up on their forums but it would not let me. Could some one please get over there and ask them to? It would be nice to be able to have an uninstaller for various reasons.
Epubs work now. They fixed some spacing, words don't run together now. But you will still see "" sometimes, or see leading " not connected to a line, it will trail off at the end of a line. Also I think apostrophes don't trail off on the end of a line, but they have spaces, like this don' t. Also centered text, left justify, and links on all documents remains broken.
But much better than previous release. |
Thanks so much for this! I replaced DKSystem folder with the new one, and everything seems to work well. Actually, I moved the old DKSystem folder to my computer, in case I ran into problems, but I didn't. Language set-up is the same.
Input settings under Latin still seems stuck on Dutch, and the fonts for French accented words is still weird, but, one this at a time. Epub is very encouraging.
