Are you considering the Kindle 3 or the Kindle DX? I ask because you mentioned a few times about the Sony's small screen size but also mentioned that the Kindle is easier to hold. If comparing the Sony 650 and the Kindle 3, they have the same 6" screen and both use the latest e-ink pearl technology.
