Have you checked your spam folder Though I don't know how Google handles spam, maybe they just nuke it at server level on receiving but that would mean they may also nuke wrongly tagged legit mail. On new accounts it's just question of time before the random generators generate your address and you start receiving crap despite of never giving your address to anyone.

I get these, or any other spam, very rarely nowadays despite of having had these addresses for years. On the other hand, I run my own mail servers so have convenience to do what ever I want with my spam and mail addresses.
