Preferences|Conversion|Common Options|Page Setup - set output profile to 'Default output profile'.
When you generate the catalog, uncheck 'Send catalog to device automatically'.
Select a small set of books, say 10 for a quick catalog test.
Build the catalog. Try sending that catalog to the device.
