Exclamation K3 bug: heads-up

Ok, I was browsing through "My Amazon.com" and wanted to improve the list of books that were suggested for me. A few of them, that I have in DTB form, I marked as "I own this". DON'T DO THIS!

When I marked these books, they were all transported to "My Collections" and to "My Orders" on my "Manage Your Kindle" page. But worse of all, when I synched they were automatically transported to Archived Items in my K3 . Those were all books that I already have or have read, and I didn't want to buy them or have them clogging my Archived Items. While in Archived Items, if you ask to download them, they will download normally (free or purchase, depending on the book), and you then will get them on your Home Page, just like a regular purchased book. The book will be gone from Archived Items, but if you ask to "Remove from the device" afterward the book will be deleted from your Kindle but will be back stuck in Archived Items.

In "Your Orders" there is an option to remove the book, but even if you delete the title over and over, it's stuck there, and also on your Kindle. Another way to remove them would be going to "My Account" and in "Your Media Library" go to "Your Collection". There you will see all the books you bought, and even the ones that you marked as "I own" (though you haven't really bought). If you select the titles that you want to get rid of and then send them to the trash, they will disappear from the list. But they're show up again in Archived Items, even after resynching and resetting my K3, and eventually will be on "My Collections" and "My Orders" as if you didn't delete them .

Somebody over at the Kindle Boards tried this and he also got the phantom book stuck on his Archived Items and on Amazon, and just can't remove them. I contacted CS and after my first e-mail, explaining all these steps I just detailed above, my e-mail wasn't read and the person that answered asked me to do what I just had done . I wrote back explaining that I already did that and then I got another answer that my problem would be analyzed by the tech department but so far haven't heard back.

So this is a heads-up, DO NOT MARK AS OWNED books in the list that is suggested to you by "My Amazon".
