Pretty happy.
Actually, since my previous post the reader has been very reliable. I recharged the battery completely that evening, and haven't recharged it since and it's been fine - showing about 2/3 full at the moment. I also deleted all my books from it and replaced them on the 2Gb SD card and that's been fine too.
Pretty happy with the Kobo at the moment. I think I might download the v1.4 firmware and keep hold of it since it seems pretty safe. That way I can upgrade in the future and revert back to v1.4 if future versions become unstable.
