I'm just wondering if I might be more satisfied with the standard cover and then buying a third party clip-on light. I find myself riding commuter buses several times a week, and with fewer daylight hours, sadly I've had to return my reader to my bag because it has been too dark . I'm just not sure that I want a permanent light, and I can't afford to buy two cases. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Abisha, I pasted the dimensions from the Sony website below. For me the lighted cover adds too much width and weight. I know many people love them though. I have had one in the past, and it was just too bulky for me. I have tiny hands. I bought the standard cover and a clip-on light. Plus, I can use the clip-on light with my other ereaders too. Other factors might be what size bag you store your reader in. Also how often do you think you'll use the light. If it's just on the bus, then maybe a clip-on would be fine.
