No worries, me being so used to open source stuff it only just occurred to me that you might be also willing to pay for an editor.

Many, many moons ago I used Evrsoft's First Page (http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage3.shtml) that was 100% free. I think you now have to pay modest price for it and then there is the old stalwart, CoffeeCup (http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/) that has wysiwyg as well nowadays for a modest price of $49. I used to use both at work and at the time they were pretty good, I can only guess they have only got better since.

Of course, if you want to pay few hundred $$ then Dreamweaver is probably the best option.

Or install either Gvim or Emacs and tell him to get on with it
