Hi, I was the person who posted on this this past fall and a thread also on Ectaco forum. I was not able to upgrade. Could not get past the Ectaco logo screen. When running diagnostics, there were memory errors and checksum errors. Ectaco advised me to return it for warranty replacement along with a copy of my original purchase invoice from Newegg. They replaced it immediately for me. I'm following the advice of another poster on the forum and only loading books on my SD card and loading them directly onto the card from my computer, no cable involved. Hopefully, nothing will corrpt using this method.
