IMO there are several things being lost sight of here but this -- freedom of the press, freedom of speech and the laws around it as well as other applicable laws such as slander, but also being lost track of is the difference in saying something and doing something. Also the innocent until proven guilty. Many have already strung up this author with no evidence whatsoever that a crime has been committed.
