@Nathan Campos: No, it won't.

If you didn't enable the auto feature, it pretty much doesn't *do* anything in itself anyway.

And, just in case, don't boot/update with the Kindle plugged to a computer. That usually ends up in weird stuff like this.

EDIT: You might want to try the .29 update, too.
