If my stylus were to break, I can already visualize how I could make a new one from raw materials I have in my garage. I would cut a piece of the steel rod stock that I have left over from tuning my CB antenna, and mold the perfect shape of plastic ends from sugru (http://sugru.com/). I think I would use the orange sugru because it would make the stylus easy to see.
