Judging by the size of the PDF files, I would say they are made up of scanned images, and not of OCR'ed text. So the text wouldn't be anti-aliased, per se, but who knows what smoothing algorithms are used when sizing the images to fit the screen.

I have scanned most of my technical books in this way (it's impossible to OCR equations and sample code properly), so this information is useful to some of us.
