You mentioned wondering if the book would disappear after 7 days. I have the Sony 505 and the 600. Both will keep the Overdrive Library ePub books on them and readable as long as I have changed the Sony date back to 2009. Mine have four books on each one that have been there a couple of months and will open for reading with no problems. The books should stay there as long as I don't hook the Sony back up to Adobe Digital Editions or the Reader Store.

At the moment I have a little used Sony Pocket Reader 300 sitting here that is being given as a Christmas gift and I have been testing it out on the Overdrive ePub books. I have tried changing dates on it, but the books go ahead and expire when the expiration date is reached. I am now trying the method where you just keep the book open to see if it can be finished past the expiration date as long as it isn't hooked back up to Sony Reader Store or Adobe Digital Editions. I can do this on the nook reader and am hoping not closing the book can also be used on the little Sony 300.
