That sucks. I had a similar situation once, only I didn't have to travel to another country so I just left.
I'm having a 'work sucks' day as well. I found out last week that the deadline for my project is next monday. Which means I would have to finish my report tomorrow night (4-day-weekend coming up) or just keep working the whole weekend. You would think my boss would tell me about something as important as an upcoming deadline but noooooo.
Luckily they gave me 2 extra weeks. So I have about 12 days to analyze all my data (180 variables)
and interpret them
and write a decent report. And oh yeah, I still have other projects to take care of. So I'll still be working this weekend. I keep reminding myself that I love my job, but it's getting harder and harder to convince myself this is true.
