Unfortunately I don't have to wait a couple days for an update. Just as I stepped out for lunch I went to my Kindle and found it was on the home page after rebooting once again. So it is not an indexing or faulty book situation since the only book I had on there was new and not on any of the previous 2 Kindles that was giving me problems. Looks like it is a hardware issue like Solicitous was saying and I just happened to receive a 3rd device with hardware issues.
Oh well, looks like another call will be going into CS who thankfully have been very nice and helpful so far.
