Nightmare? Not really.
Back in the 70s I was renting a small apartment in an old building (built apx 1910). Only apartments above each other were the same. All the rest down the hall were different configurations.
The people down the hall from me moved out and left the door unlocked. So that evening, after work, I went in to see if maybe I wanted to swap apartments.
I knew that there was a problem as soon as I opened the front door. Judging from the droppings they had raised free range pigeons in the apartment. Every floor, the counter tops, and the range were covered in pigeons shit.
I suppose moving was easier than cleaning the apartment.
And you think that a lot of cats might be a problem?
