Of course there's other ways. What you mean is; "there's no other way that's not visible to the rest of the world." You could contact the publisher. Flood them with emails from enraged fans. Email the author, begging them to influence their publisher. What you
don't do is give a negative review of a book you haven't read. A book review should be just that -- a review of the books content.
Besides, the publishers aren't reading your silly one-star reviews... only other potential Amazon readers are. Where's the sense in that? I happen to think that the anger behind the one-star reviews themselves is justified... just terribly, terribly misplaced. It should be directed toward publishers alone. Publishing grievances shouldn't be aired on a retailer provided forum intended for
readers. The readers who rely on book reviews for their purchases are the ONLY ones you are hurting with these one-star reviews. But, I'm sure it must feel good to vent... misplaced as it is.
