Hi, I'm desertblues and the owner of a Blackberry, whose functions I dont use at all. Almost nobody has my number, except for Vodafone.
I would like a non-rechargable, non-backlighted telephone about the size of a Kindle......so I would never forget to charge it or leave it somewhere.
I only turn it on when
I want to telephone; g.e. if I'm stuck somewhere. I do text once in a while, if I remember how.
If someone phones me: by the time I realize it's actually my phone that's making that infernal noise........too late....
I do have a voicemail: made my daughter operate it to say: " I don't usually, ever, listen to voicemail, see you'.
