Do you know the number one problem with the internet? Idea theft! Well, I will admit to borrowing the idea about the US becoming a Banana Republic from many other bloggers, but when the NY Times has an article, Our Banana Republic, about the same subject, it irks me that they did not give prior writers any credit.

Among the 1000+ comments attached to this blog are posts justifying Sarah Palin's right to be a ditz. Those who are sensitive to heated arguments and derisive language should avoid combing through the comments. They lack civility. It's not what you would normally expect of people reading the online content of the Wall Street Journal. What is becoming of the world? We spend 90% of our time arguing with one another.
