I have a lot of rare, out-of-print books as pdf files. I have downloaded the MobiPocket Creator and transformed them to .prc files.

I don't get my device (Kindle) until next week, but I'm wondering if the .prc format (unlike pdf) will re-flow the text so that books will display properly and in a decent font size, and still be in paragraph format, on a Kindle screen.

Anybody tried this? How well does it work? Also, can you see the original page numbers or do they get lost in the conversion?
