I think the OP mentioned that they were aware that if Amazon didn't get the original K3 back that the OP would be billed for it.

I think the overall greed is what troubles me. Trying to sell a defective unit with illegally obtained books on it in order to maximize profit is abhorrent to me.

I could understand having a book or two on the device to demonstrate functionality but that's about it.

FYI: I wouldn't sell my mp3 player with tunes on it or a computer with any software (other than a legal copy of an OS) on it either.
