I have a K1 and a DXG. I like that I can sync up reading materials easily. So far I have only used the K1 when I am at the beach or near water or in anenvironment that I was worried about it being damaged. Otherwise I use my DXG.

I guess I would say buy a different e-reader if the Kindle is lacking something for you. So if you really want to read library books or if there are books you have not been able to find for the Kindle but you can find them in EPub.

The larger sized e-readers are limited. There is the Sony, DX, and Pocketbook. The Nook Color is 7 inches.
