I have to agree with this.
The whole newspaper thing is a non issue for me so the fact that we are still waiting for it makes no difference to my Kobo experience. Maybe when (if?) it eventually gets here I will be so thrilled that I will wonder how I survived without it but until all this recent fuss I had forgotten it was ever supposed to happen.
