Hello everyone from a trek lit lover

I've been lurking in the shadows on here for several months and started posting a few weeks ago. I keep seeing links requesting that people come here to introduce themselves. I guess it's never too late, so here I am.

I purchased my wife a Kindle 3 a while back and I've requested one for Christmas from Mrs. Claus.

I started on here originally looking for information on removing the drm from and converting to mobi, the vast collection of Star Trek lit files I've purchased over the years. I sort of collected them more than read them because I didn't really like reading on my computer and my handheld was too small. Now that ereaders have gotten very affordable, I'm looking forward to catching up on a lot of reading, Star Trek and other things.

I've moved on from converting to editing and cleaning up and I've learned a lot on these boards. They're filled with a very friendly and knowledgeable group of people.

Anyway, hello everyone.
