Good Omens (the Nice and Accurate Professes of Agnes Nutter, Witch) was written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I think alot of people forget Neil Gaiman, but it was he who drew me to the book originally. I was (am still, I suppose) a HUGE fan of Gaiman's "Sandman" comics, and hadn't heard of Terry Pratchett, when I first read Good Omens. I was living in Cardiff, Wales at the time, and remember laughing out loud while waiting for my laundry at the local "laundrette" while the other patrons looked at me like I was a complete nut.

Also, I read picked up "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" once, just because the title caught my attention and I was 'without a book to read'. I laughed out loud at that one, too.

Other than that, Douglas Adams is still my favourite comedic writer, though... I always wished that there were more to the Dirk Gently series...
