I'm not concerned about battery replacement, as it seem easy enough from the video that I watched so I just let the device go into standby mode. I'll replace the battery in 4 or 5 years and will figure it out at that time. After all I have 5 years to fugre out how to replace the battery, although I wish that it was user serviceable like the Nook is.
