Hello from soloist66

Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello. I've only been ereading since the spring, when I started using the Kindle and Stanza Apps on my iPod Touch -- to see if I could read books on an electronic device. About a month ago, I decided to purchase the new Sony PRS-650 --and I love it. Knowing Sony's great hardware/poor software reputation (yes, I had the Sony MiniDisc and HD atrac3/mp3 players and I'm a MAC user) I knew that if I was going down the Sony route -- I had to research what options there were to get books on the device, as the user experience is not really Sony's forte. Thanks to all of the pre-purchase research I did on MobileRead, I already figured out I needed Calibre. Thanks for the great advice and tips on Calibre and Sony devices and looking forward to a long future in eReading!
