MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - Still No OS 1.6 for my LG Eve...Any workarounds?

My LG Eve only has OS 1.5, and LG Canada is apparently having Rogers 'test' v 1.6. This version was supposed to be made available in the 'spring' and then in Sept. and in Oct. We're in Nov - and still no 1.6. When contacting LG Canada, they say Rogers is still 'testing' it. When I call Rogers, they have no idea what I am asking. They say there is only 1.5 and no 1.6.

I cannot get my Kobo software on my LG Eve unless I have OS 1.6 or higher. Does anyone know of a way I can get around this on my LG Eve?
