Yesterday I made a daring thing. I put order in the cup board that hosts spices and teas, which I also collected from various places in the pantry.
Among a collection of Earl Grays, Lady Grays, lemon scented teas and similar, I found an untouched packet of Tanzania Tea. Black. Robust, very nice. A solid cup of tea. Tannin, pleasant. Put it out. Probably it belonged to my long time gone father and it was given to me by my sister who managed the affair, and I forgot about it.
Together with an other untouched packet of Temple of Heaven Gunpowder, that is what I am going to try right now. Not bad, may be a little too faint after the Tanzania cup. I'll put it out also, that is in sight. Moments after drinking it, I feel a very nice peppery taste. Interesting. Good quality. I had doubt about keeping it or throwing it out. I'll keep it.
There is also an almost untouched collection set by Twinning including bags of Prince of Wales. Obviously it belongs to my wife. I might make a people appropriation of those.
I might go for more teas and less coffee.
I expect to find inspiration for the purchase of teas by the tea drinkers that abound on this thread.
Ok, for to day I got enough caffein. If I want more tea I will go Rooibos (pure) or herbal (of those I have a wide choice)
