Yes, I also have a home-made cover - used some thin sponge stuff almost like wetsuit material (from Clarkes Rubber for those in Australia) and edged and joined it with cloth tape. Looks "home-made" as my sewing skills are basic, but it works and protects the screen (which the expensive flexible covers don't)
I love the really well made ones, perhaps we should start a thread with a photo gallery of bejeweled and embroidered ebook covers?
