I'm on pay-as-you-go, my cell phone provider won't even allow me to send texts overseas, and even my European text coverage isn't the greatest. I only have reception in my kitchen, so when I'm at home I have to leave my cell on the table.
(I live in the boonies). Admittedly, I sort of like being unreachable, and blaming it on my poor cell connection when I want to be left alone.
Trust me when I tell you that I'm pretty sure my phone doesn't do much other than make calls and texts! It's a pretty old Nokia model.
