I can download Baen books with a variety of different formats. Right now I am trying out the same book with different readers trying to figure out my preferences.
I am guessing that buying it via Kindle is useful if we want to be able to read the same book with different devices. Read a chapter outside on the Kindle device, then go upstairs, and continue on the same page on the iPad Kindle app.
